Viennale

Every year at the end of October, the Viennale film festival takes place in Vienna's city centre with an urban flair and international orientation. The Viennale first took place in 1960 and has since developed into a successful and internationally renowned audience festival. The focus of the film festival is to offer a platform to demanding authors, arthouse and experimental films.
