From mid-November until Christmas, Vienna's most beautiful squares are transformed into magical Christmas markets. The old town and shopping streets are decorated with festive lights and spread Christmas spirit in the city. At the Christmas markets the air is filled with the scent of Christmas baking, hot punch and roasted almonds. In addition to the culinary delights, the atmospheric markets offer traditional crafts, handmade Christmas tree decorations and cribs, Christmas gifts and much more.
